La Cámara Federal de Casación Penal ordenó la prisión preventiva de la diputada nacional de Cambiemos Aída Ayala, procesada por lavado de dinero y asociación ilícita.

The legislator had an exemption from imprisonment, but Casación revoked it today, which is why the arrest warrant for Ayala is again being rescinded.

However, the deputy can not be detained because her position has privileges that prevent arrest. The impeachment must be re-elected by the Chamber of Deputies since at the first opportunity it was rejected by the majority of Cambio.

The judges of Room IV Mariano Borinsky and Juan Carlos Gemignani declared "inadmissible" the ruling of the Federal Resistance Chamber, which granted Ayala the exemption from imprisonment.

The federal judge of Resistencia, Zunilda Niremperger, ordered in mid-April, at the request of prosecutor Patricio Sabadini, the arrest of Ayala because he understood that in freedom could hinder the investigation. And he requested the impeachment to the Chamber of Deputies.

Then, he prosecuted her for being the head of an illicit association that from the intendencia of Resistencia -which he held for three periods from 2003 to 2015- set up an engineering to benefit the company "PIMP SA" with the business of waste collection in the city.

But the House gave him the exemption from prison, which allowed him to be at liberty during the investigation. With that ruling, Change in Deputies dismissed the impeachment.

But the prosecutor of the House of Resistance Federico Carniel took the issue to Cassation to revoke the benefit to the deputy because he understood that the cause is at risk if Ayala is free. The court agreed with him.

Casación also confirmed the arrests of Daniel Fischer, who was Ayala's campaign manager and his daughter's former partner, and of businessmen Carlos Huidobro and Rolando Acuña.
